How to share files and knowledge

One of the most common things business owners do is answer questions. Finding a file. Helping an employee. Helping a customer. If the answer is already written down somewhere, that's a lot of tedious work. Your Joshu can take that for you.

The idea is simple: knowledge usually lives in files, so sharing it should feel like sharing a folder. Make a folder, drop files in (or sync them from Drive or Dropbox), hit share, and you're done.

How to share a folder

Put the files on Joshu's desktop, or connect Drive / Dropbox and point Joshu at the folder. Right-click, Share, copy the link. Guests only see what you shared. Not the whole internet, and not your private mail.

How to help customers on the web

Share a public chat that only answers from those files. Someone can ask "what's the warranty on this fridge" and get a precise answer from the manufacturer docs you dropped in, not a guess.

How to help a teammate in Slack

Share the same folder into a private Slack channel. Your team asks in Slack; Joshu answers from the files. Same knowledge, where people already work.
