Files you already keep in Drive become part of Joshu's desk. Joshu can file new documents, search by meaning, and remember what lived where.

What Joshu does

Connect a Google account and point Joshu at shared drives or folders. It organizes uploads, retrieves files when you ask in chat or mail, and keeps memory of the document, not just the filename. Shared knowledge folders from the how-to guide can sync from Drive instead of living only on Joshu's desktop.

What you do

Authorize Drive access and select folders Joshu may read and write. Keep sensitive drives disconnected. Use folder sharing when you want guests or teammates to see only one subtree.

Why it sticks

Drive is already the filing cabinet. Joshu opens it instead of making you re-upload everything.

Permissions and limits

Joshu respects Google Drive sharing rules. It cannot access files outside the drives and folders you connect. Deletes and moves follow the permissions of the connected account.
