What Joshu does

Joshu reads the channels you connect, captures decisions, and turns them into mail, tasks, and files on its desktop. Shared knowledge folders can answer questions inside a private Slack channel from the files you dropped in. Approvals can land in a Slack DM if that is how you work.

What you do

Install the Joshu Slack connection and invite Joshu to the channels that matter. Keep #random and private DMs disconnected if you prefer. Point Joshu at a channel when you want file-backed Q&A from a shared folder.

Why it sticks

If the company talks in Slack, the assistant should hear it and still remember it next week.

Permissions and limits

Joshu only sees channels where it is a member. It cannot read workspace history from before it was added unless Slack's API allows export of that range. Workspace admins control installation.
